Deaf Association Wales is the Welsh Division of the British Deaf Association. We work to facilitate a Sign Community in a Tri-lingual Wales. We are recruiting for the full-time post of:

Deaf Community Support Officer

We are looking for a committed and motivated person with experience of support /advocacy work, who can facilitate d/Deaf people to discuss and consult with agencies to update their systems.

The postholder will also provide advocacy to d/Deaf people so they will be able to access services throughout Caerphilly.

Salary: £18,000 - £20,000 full-time post

The postholder will be based in Social Work Team at Hengoed, Caerphilly, and the person in post will report to the DAW Director (and Team Manager Caerphilly CBC)
