How it will work Once you have agreed to take part (by completing the booking form) your school has agreed to raise a minimum of £50 for the BDA. Please remember to state the exact number of children who will be taking part in order for the correct number of certificates to be sent. We will then give you a password for the week to log in to our website each day and retrieve a short phrase in BSL. Although each day’s video clip will be available to access at any point. This will help if you are unable to participate every day but wish to plan for a specific day. There is an A-Z spelling card available to download for each child to use to spell their name. The daily phrases can be taught to the children either in the classroom or at assembly each morning. The following week certificates will be sent out to all children who have participated in the campaign. Once all monies have been sent in to the BDA, the school will receive a personalised certificate recognising your support for the charity. Throughout the week there will be support available on 01925 414649 or via sarahm@bda.org.uk We hope that you can take part in this fun and educational campaign. Please complete the booking form and send it back to us as soon as possible to confirm your involvement in Learn to Sign Week 2008. |
