About the project
Supporting Deaf young people through change
Deaf Roots & Pride (DRP) Transitions Scotland supports Deaf children and young people aged 8–25 in central Scotland as they move from primary to secondary education, and from secondary education into further education and work.
Young people can explore Deaf culture, Deaf identity and British Sign Language, meet positive Deaf role models, take part in workshops and events, and get involved with the DRP Youth Advisory Group.
The project also provides transition training and networking opportunities for parents and professionals who support Deaf young people.
