Support our work
Support the BDA
Your support helps us protect sign language, strengthen Deaf communities and challenge the barriers Deaf people face across the UK.

Make a difference
Every week, the BDA helps hundreds of Deaf people across the UK overcome barriers and access support. Many more Deaf people need our help, so your support enables us to strengthen existing services and develop new work that responds to the changing needs of Deaf communities.
Your donation helps us to:
- Champion British Sign Language and Deaf rights
- Provide support, advice and advocacy
- Create stronger, more inclusive Deaf communities
What your support can make possible
Every donation, no matter the size, helps us create real change in Deaf people’s lives.
Could help a Deaf child take part in a Deaf Roots & Pride activity session and socialise with other Deaf children.
Could help a Deaf person receive one-to-one advocacy support from a trained advocate.
Could fund mentoring support for a Deaf child with a trained Deaf role model.
Could help provide a group BSL information session for 20 Deaf people.
Could help us create an accessible BSL information video on an important topic.
Could support a 20-week family BSL course, helping Deaf children and their families communicate.
