Today, our Belfast office was visited by Anne Murray, who has gifted the BDA and the Deaf Community with a very special item. Anne was out running errands, and decided to have a look in a local charity shop.

The British Deaf Association (NI) in partnership with the Ulster Society at Jordanstown School are hosting an ‘Evening of Remembrance and Celebration’ on Friday 28th September from 6pm – 9pm and your presence would be most welcome and greatly appreciated.

The BDA is delighted to announce the publication of a new 160 page book entitled: A Pictorial History of the British Deaf Association.

The film is part of SHARE: The Deaf Visual Archive a larger BDA project funded by a Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) grant of £719,100.
