Take the Leap for BDA Youth: Skydive Fundraiser 2026

On Saturday 5 September 2026, members of the BDA Youth Committee, BDA staff and supporters will take part in a fundraising skydive at Salisbury Skydive Centre.

The event will raise funds to help BDA Youth create more opportunities for Deaf young people across the UK.

Why we are fundraising

Funds raised through the skydive will help BDA Youth deliver events, camps, leadership opportunities and community projects for Deaf young people.

These opportunities bring Deaf young people together, helping them to:

• Develop new skills.
• Make lasting friendships.
• Celebrate their Deaf identity.
• Take on leadership roles.
• Make their voices heard.

This fundraiser will help bring BDA Youth’s new strategy, NextGen Deaf: Our Turn to Sign!, to life.

The strategy is focused on creating more opportunities for Deaf young people to connect, grow, lead and help shape the future of the Deaf community.
