International Week of Deaf People

International Week of Deaf People is an annual event celebrated during the last full week of September, organized by the World Federation of the Deaf (WFD). It aims to raise global awareness about the issues faced by Deaf communities and promote the use of sign languages. The British Deaf Association (BDA) is a key organization in the UK that participates in this week of awareness.
