Experience of being a mentor has been encouraging young Deaf people, helping them to develop and become more confident over a 6 month period.
It is rewarding to see how they change from being very shy at the start of mentoring until the end of the relationship were you can see how confident and proud of their deafness, it is a great feeling.

The deadline for submitting your application is 4pm on 14th January, interviews will be held on 26th January.
Wages are £12 per hour and you can expect to mentor between 1 – 4 hours per week depending on what you and your mentee agree on.
You will receive 6 days of free training which is usually delivered over 3 weekends.
