Temporary Residential Worker (One year contract)

Grade B CPS 22 – 24 (£23,658 – £24,936)
Hours: 42 per week in term-time, Monday to Friday plus 10 training days p.a.
To start as soon as possible

Oak Lodge School is an Outstanding (OfSTED 2012) residential provision for deaf and language impaired students aged 10-19. The school follows a student-centred multi-modal approach to communication. We would like to welcome you to become part of our vibrant and innovative learning community, to have the opportunity to work in our happy and harmonious school which promotes the highest standards and is at the forefront of special education. We are an inclusive school where every student and member of staff is valued highly.

We are looking for a Residential Worker to support a group of students with a range of needs in Phoenix House, the residential unit attached to Oak Lodge School.  We are looking for a candidate that has excellent communication skills and knowledge of deafness, communication difficulties and mental health issues.
