NextGen Deaf! – Our Turn to Sign
The British Deaf Association is proud to launch NextGen Deaf! – Our Turn to Sign, a new youth strategy supporting Deaf young people aged 13–30 across the UK.
Alongside this launch, we are excited to introduce the BDA Youth Committee — a group of Deaf young leaders helping to shape the future of Deaf youth work.
NextGen Deaf! is built by Deaf young people, for Deaf young people. It focuses on strengthening identity, improving access to opportunities, supporting wellbeing, and creating real pathways into leadership.
Through Deaf-led programmes, mentoring and community spaces, we are working towards a future where Deaf young people feel proud, confident in BSL, and ready to lead.
