I wanted to support British Deaf Association (BDA) because it strives to bring about equality for the deaf community.
And this cause is particularly close to my heart as my cousin brother lost his hearing and speech because of someone’s negligence when he was only 8 hours old. Since then he has lived his life with the consequences.
I also wanted to challenge myself as my work requires me to sit long hours, I have been training for this for several months now and look forward to the finish line.
