Transcript of BSL video:
Welcome to the BDA!
We would like to inform you of an upcoming event that will be a North Derbyshire Deaf Forum meeting on Saturday 12th September at Chesterfield Deaf Club; the time is the same as always 2pm to 5pm.
North Derbyshire Deaf Forum has asked me to let you know that the topic that will be discussed on the 12th September will be ‘Employment’. We will be discussing unemployment, access to the Job Centre, good or bad. We are very fortunate to have someone coming from North Derbyshire Job Centre to do a presentation to the Forum and talk about the job centre and how they can support you. They also want to hear from you, feedback on accessing the Job Centre. It is a very important opportunity for you to come along and tell them your experiences when you have tried to access the Job Centre or when you have tried to find a job.
There are BSL interpreters booked for the open meeting.
If you need any more information please contact us via the Facebook page or contact the BDA.
Look forward to seeing you there.
