We understand that seeking the advice of a solicitor can make Deaf people feel anxious, Deaf people worry about the costs involved, especially when paying an interpreter, or that they won’t understand the legal complexities.

We received quite a number of nominations which were reviewed by a panel. The nominees are all inspiring role models for Deaf young people across Scotland. However, despite the tough deliberations about the nominations, we can only choose one from all the nominations for the Jock Young Award.
