From 18 July to 30 July 2017, the streets of Samsun will come alive with elite athletes and their supporters from 90 countries around the globe, who will be competing and participating at the 23rd Summer Deaflympics.
On 18-21 February, the International Committee of Sports for the Deaf and OC for the 23rd Summer Deaflympics welcomed more than 70 delegates from 34 countries to Samsun, Turkey for a meeting at the Sheraton Grand Hotel to present the plan for this year’s Deaflympics.
The ICSD President Dr Valery Rukhledev and the General Coordinator, Mr Serkan Baltaci described the Chef de Mission Seminar as a great opportunity for the NDFSs to receive important information and updates needed for their preparations for this summer, and invited everyone to actively participate in the ICSD Congress, meet and interact with friends and colleagues from all over the world, and to enjoy Samsun’s hospitality.
