The Department for Communities is to hold a series of Personal Independence Payment (PIP) information sessions. This follows on from the Department’s published response to the Independent Review of the PIP Assessment process (Walter Rader report).
We understand that seeking the advice of a solicitor can make Deaf people feel anxious, Deaf people worry about the costs involved, especially when paying an interpreter, or that they won’t understand the legal complexities.

BDA (NI) will be hosting workshops in Belfast, Omagh and Derry/Londonderry on the topic of scam prevention.
The workshops will provide you with the opportunity to learn about the latest scams, letters, emails and texts from scammers as well as how to avoid them, spot them, and protect yourself against them.
BDA (NI) has received funding from Department for Communities for 6 road shows across Northern Ireland to explain Universal Credit.
