Young people who had mentors were encouraged to develop and gained confidence after about six months,
It is a rewarding feeling to see how young people changed from being very shy at the beginning of mentoring until the end of the relationship were you can see how confident and proud they are as deaf young people, it is a great feeling.

You will earn £12 per hour and you can expect to mentor between 1 – 4 hours per week depending on what you and your mentee agree on.
You will receive 6 days of free training which is usually delivered over 3 weekends.
