BDA wins Campaigner of the Year - Sense Awards 2022
We are very excited to announce that the British Deaf Association picked up the award for Campaigner of the Year at this year's Sense Awards for our work on the BSL Act Now! campaign! A huge thank you to Sense for recognising the importance of the BSL Act Now! campaign and the hard work that went into getting BSL finally recognised as a legal language.
Thank you to everyone involved with the campaign, particularly our former Chair, David Buxton, for his tireless support for our team, to Rosie Cooper MP for sponsoring the BSL Bill, and to all the organisations who backed the campaign.
