Trudi Collier sits on the BDA’s Board of Trustees.
Trudi’s Deaf father was a BDA member for many years and she is also a longstanding member of the charity herself through both paid and voluntary roles. She has attended BDA rallies and events since she was little and wants to help the charity continue its work, particularly in helping deaf children and young people as well as getting more people involved in the work of BDA.
As well as her work with BDA, Trudi provides counselling to Deaf BSL users and provides information and training on Deaf awareness to health service staff. She has also worked for a media company so is familiar with media processes.
