Members' AGM

According to our records, a Member conference was held in Great Yarmouth (Norwich) in 1999 but no other gatherings in East Anglia. It was decided at the Board Meeting that the AGM is to take place in Suffolk for the first time. So we are going to Ipswich!

The AGM weekend, 10-12th November 2023, will include five events:

  1. Social event on Friday night (10th November) at Ipswich Deaf Society
  2. AGM at the Town Hall in Ipswich (11th November) starting 11am.
  3. Followed by the Gala dinner in the evening (11th November) at the Town Hall
  4. On Sunday we will arrange a Walking tour in BSL in Ipswich (TBC)
  5. BDA Youth will be joining us all weekend and they will have BDA Youth Leadership workshop on Saturday afternoon as well as go on a day trip to Bawdsey Manor for adventurous activities.

When you register for the Gala Dinner, you will be able to select a 3-course meal for the evening for yourself and up to 9 additional guests.
