GIVE ME BSL
Give Me BSL is an exciting new 2 year project serving families of Deaf children/young people aged 8-21years old
The project's aim is to build the capacity of families with Deaf children and young people who do, or would like to, communicate in British Sign Language.
The project will provide opportunities that strengthen the collective ability of the family.
Families will have the chance to become more skilled and more involved in decisions that affect their lives.
Parents and carers will be given the opportunity to
shape how this project runs, influencing topics for the
information and training events, having a say in where
events happen.
The discussion/focus groups are a chance for parents and carers to decide on what the key messages are and to share solutions that can be presented to the authorities.
The themed events are about inviting both local and
national bodies to hear your perspective: now is the
chance to share your experience.
