Hi everyone, DRP Wales under the BDA is organising an event titled ‘Taste Your Future’ aiming at secondary school deaf children, and individual in transition period.
The aim of the day is to provide Deaf young people some sort of role model, in deaf adult who hold various careers. The aim is to inspire deaf young people and show them that they too can achieve profession just like the Deaf professionals can show them on the day.
We have asked various professionals like teachers, psychologist, nurse, hair dresser, Councillor, managers, lawyers, youth leaders, artists, social worker, football coach, rugby player, graphic designer to attend our day.
Young people will have the opportunity to watch them, ask question and where appropriate have a go and try a hand on experience.
