Watersports Day – DRP Scotland

English Transcript

Hello! I’m Mitchell from DRP, Scotland. I have an exciting announcement to make. Our next event will be a water sports day! It should be thrilling! In case you are wondering what water sports might involve, take a look at this.

The venue runs a number of different activities, just a few of which we’ll be trying out. First, there will be raft building:

Using barrels and planks you’ll get to build your own raft, set it afloat and row it together as a team!

The second thing we’ll try is canoeing. Their long canoe boats take two people, so this activity will be done in pairs. Again, you’ll have to work together to paddle the boat between you.

There are loads of other things to try too, so why not come along and have a go?

If you want to know more about the venue, what time we’ll be going and so on, take a look here.

Spaces for this event are limited, so book as soon as you can.

You’ll need to wear comfortable clothes for the day, please, and remember to bring some dry clothes to change into. Don’t worry too much about the weather – just bring whatever you think is suitable. Finally, you will also need a packed lunch. After all that fun and physical activity, you are bound to be hungry, so bring something to eat.

The deadline for registering to attend this event is 10th July. If you are interested, but want more information, contact me and I can fill you in. I hope to see you there.

Come along and join us at DRP Scotland's Watersports day!

Date: Friday 26th July
Time: 10am - 12pm
Where: Pinkston Watersports, 75 North Canal Bank St, Glasgow G4 9XP

We have limited spaces, so book early to avoid disappointment. The deadline to reserve your space is 10th July.

Please wear comfortable clothing, bring a spare change of dry clothing, and a packed lunch.

To book your place or for more information, contact Mitchell Graham at transitionscot.drp@bda.org.uk or text 07795 822 102

We look forward to seeing you there.
